Last updated: June 24, 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CarryVue mobile app, the website at www.carryvue.com, and related services (together, the "Services"), provided by CarryVue ("CarryVue," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at Team@Carryvue.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your account.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Services only for lawful, personal purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Services; or
- Use the Services to build a competing product or to resell access without our permission.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload, including photos, items, trip records, and home records ("Your Content"). You grant CarryVue a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, back up, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Services to you. You are responsible for Your Content and for keeping your own copies; exports are available in the app.
6. Subscriptions, purchases, and billing
CarryVue offers a free tier and paid plans, including subscription and one-time ("Lifetime") options. Paid plans are sold and billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Except where required by law or Apple's policies, payments are non-refundable. Prices and plan features may change; we will provide notice of material changes.
7. Documentation tool; no guarantees
CarryVue is a personal documentation and organization tool. It is not insurance and is not a claims, legal, or financial service. Records you create may be useful for personal reference, but we make no guarantee that any third party will accept them. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of Your Content.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including the CarryVue name, logo, design, and software, are owned by CarryVue and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal use. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.
9. Third-party services
The Services rely on third-party providers (for example, the App Store and cloud infrastructure) and may link to third-party content. We are not responsible for third-party services or their terms. Your use of the App Store is governed by Apple's terms, and the relevant App Store provider is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarryVue and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Services in a way that may cause harm or legal exposure. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where a mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence applies. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your jurisdiction.
